Tri-ang lorry, "sit-on" design. Pressed tin plate. Cab red, separate from enclosed body which is torquiose green. Cab- open windows, 2 white metal discs for headlights. Body - three impressed panels along each side at top. Have remains of paper labels advertiisng Tri-ang toys. A lower panel has a label TRANSPORT. Back has opening doors, held by swivelling bar. Registration number - LB2121. Red tin mudguard right rear wheel only. Hub cap on front left side missing. A red wheel (not attached) on a metal post through cab articulates with front wheels, allowing a sitting child to steer.

The base of the tin reads, "J.S. FRY & SONS LTD, SOMERDALE, BRISTOL, ENGLAND".

Rectangular wood and cardboard chocolate box. Lid incorporates a tinted portrait of a young woman holding flowers: this is framed by a raised wooden border, painted with gold paint, and four gilt metal scrolls pinned to each corner. The lid is fastened by a similar gilt metal clasp, and held open by a single white ribbon. Inside the lid is a gold makers mark, "J.S. FRY AND SONS LIMITED MAKERS TO H.M. THE KING BRISTOL AND LONDON." The box interior is lined with white paper and the base with dark green paper textured to resemble leather.

On the bottom is printed 'J.S.Fry & Sons Ltd. Chocolate Manufacturers, Somerdale, Bristol.' Inside a selection of chocolate bars- Picnic, Crunchie, Chocolate Cream, Turkish Delight, 5 Boys Milk Chocolate (2). On a card inside is written, 'It has been a great pleasure to welcome you to Somerdale and to show you how our products are made under ideal conditions and by the most modern methods. We hope that you have enjoyed your visit and that you will accept these chocolates as a souvenir of a happy occasion.' There is also a small guarantee slip enclosed. 530

Chocolate box, long, oblong and covered with a white paper, ribbed and with a floral emboss to imitate satin. There is a twisted blue braid edging and a diagonal blue ribbon sash across the centre. There are a pair of cameo actress photographs in sepia held in decorative metal frames. The box is lined with waxed paper and a shredded paper packing and there is a small gold-printed label, "J.S.Fry and Sons LTD, Bristol and London."

Stamped on box sides is the inscription: 'Fry's Nut Milk Chocolate 7ib bars to each cake 3ibs No.90. On box front is a paper label in green, gold and red inscribed 'Fry's Nut Milk Chocolate'.

Chocolate box. An oblong-shaped chocolate box covered with copper coloured ribbed paper to give the effect of watered taffeta silk. The lid top is decorated with and embossed gold-coloured pattern of neo-classical flower wreaths and bows and set in the centre is an oval shaped tinted photograph showing full-length a couple in 18th century constume. The be-wigged man stands behind a lady whose hand is placed on a key-board instrument. The picture is tinted in green, pink, red, yellow and blue. Inside the lid is a label that reads, "Makers to H.M.THE KING. BY APPOINTMENT. J.S.FRY AND SONS LIMITED. BRISTOL AND LONDON."

Small chocolate box covered with embossd white paper which gives it a leather-like look. The lid is decorated with a painting of a rose, and is bordered with a pattern in white. On the inside of the box, a label reads, "ELEVEN EXHIBITION PRIZE MEDALS. CHOCOLATE BONBONS. J.S.FRY AND SONS. BRISTOL AND LONDON. MANUFACTURERS OF THE CELEBRATED CARACAS COCOA." Inside the box are some strips of purple paper. A date on the base reads - 1878.

Inside the lid is a large paper label printed in colour with raspberries, banners and check-pattern border with lettering similar to side label.

Orange with a maroon banana bunch motif, and a picture of a silver-wrapped chocolate bar, "Fry's Chocolate Cream Bananas". Inside the lid is a black printed illustration of the Bristol Somerdale factory, framed between trees.
