A fragment of bright blue glazed pottery, eliptical in section and slightly curved (part of a wand used in dancing). It is decorated in black paint, showing two cartouches with the nomen of Merenptah I on one side and another cartouche on the other side. Both sides have a wadjet eye painted on them (the decoration is very faded on one side).

The glaze on the back is green and black (it may have been burnt).

The main body shows a figure with arms outstretched with two crosses and two animals (?). The design is the same on both sides. There is a small chip on the rim.

The cartouches are the nomen and prenomen of Rameses III and have the titles 'neb kha' and 'neb tawy' (Lord of the Two Lands) in front of them.
