Mallet with integral handle. The handle is straight. The main body of the mallet is dome-shaped and has a large flat bottom. The bottom has scratch marks in the centre, and the grain of the wood is easily visible. The wood is cracked along the grain on the edges of the mallet's main body as wells as near the base, from the circumference towards the centre.
