3 Bes amulets. Eight of pale green/green faience specimens moulded in the form of Bes. The largest one is made of pale green shiny faience, and has an almost rectangular base. It has crudely moulded features and a large tall plumed headdress.It is pierced lengthways through the bottom of the headress. It has double sided mouldings, but is a relatively thin amulet. Another larger one is made of very shiny green faience moulded with a plumed headress and crude lined moulding. It has a flat back. Another is part of an amulet with crudel models of Bes moulded onto it, made of pale green matt faience (now partly pale brown) It has a flat slightly bowed back. It is not pierced. The smallest one is made of pale green and no features are visible. It is almost a rectangular shape with a piercingthrough the headress at the top. Another small one is made of green shiny faience with an oval shaped base, and again is roughly moulded. It has a pilaster at the back through which it is pierced twice. The other smaller one is made of pale green shiny faience, on a rectangular base. Bes is seated on a throne with a pilaster at the back which is pierced near the top. \another is made of pale green matt faience,but has a crimson tinge to the surface. It has a large plumed headresss, with oddly moulded features on an almost square base. It is pierced through the back of the neck. The final amulet is wider than the rest and is made of green matt faience. It has an almost rectangular base, and is pierced through the centre of the body. It has a cross hatched design on the headress.

2 green faience amulets moulded in the form of the head of Hathor. One is shiny dark green faience. It has rough mouldings on each side of Hathor's face and a long headress. The amulet is relatively thin and has a small rectangular base which is inscribed with some hieroglyphic (?) symbols. It has a flat plinth on the top of the head and is pierced through a tube like piercing on top of the plinth. The other is made of mint green matt faience, and has part of the piercing on top of the head missing. The upper torso and face of Hathor is roughly moulded, with incised lined decoration on both side. It has a circular shape to the torco, which is flat on the bottom and has a small hole bored up through its centre.

This is a pale green shiny amulet moulded in the form of a two-faced ape standing on an almost rectangular base. it stands facing to one side with one leg forwards, and has roughly moulded facial features of an ape. Its body is decorated with a cross hatched design. It has a loop which is pierced widthways on the top of its head.

This is a green faience amulet moulded in the form of a man wearing an incised necklace, a nude belly standing on a square base with a rectangular plaque behind him. The details are very fine, and he has two plaits of hair from either side of his head. The back is incised with a picture of the winged Horus, wearing a sun disc, facing to one side. It is pierced through the back of the head, and there is a geometric design on top of the head. Plus a cast of the back.

This is an almost flat rectangular turquoise shiny faience amulet. It has a roughly moulded and black curved, painted depiction of Hathor on one side. It is pierced lengthways, and there is no decoration on the other side.

This is a white opaque glass amulet moulded in the form of a bird with the head of a human. It is rougly moulded in low relief onto a flat back in the shape of the outline of the object. It has stick like legs which form one bar along the bottom edge.

This is a pale green matt amulet moulded in the form of Horus standing on a rectangular base, with one leg forward. He wears a tall pointed crown, and has the face of a hawk. One arm is bent at the elbow holding a sceptre, the other is placed down by his side. There is a pilaster at the back, and it is pierced through a loop at the back of the neck. There is limited detail.

3 figures of pale green/yellow green faience moulded in the form of Thoth seated. They have roughly moulded facial features of a baboon with a ridged forehead. They stand with both arms down by their side seated on a throne (?) with one leg forward on a rectangular base. They have a loop at the back of the neck which is pierced. one is cream/pale green. The largest one has many chips and part of its forehead missing. It also has lined decoration on its chest. The other has less detail and is off pale green.

He has the moulded facial features of a babboon, with circular eyes and a long pointed snout.It rests on a rectangular base, curved at one end. It has no decoration on the back.

The other is smaller, a pale green and partly cracked through one side.

10 amulets of faience moulded in the form of Bes, with a plumed headress, standing. The largest one is made of pale green matt faience and is almost flat, with fretwork between the arms and legs. It has an almost rectangular base, and is two-sided, although one side is almost flat. It is pierced lengthways through the base of the headress. Another is made of petrol blue faience, with traces of bright green and yellow on it. it has more of a vase shape and a small rectangular base. Again moulded on both sides, with a navel indentation. Another larger one is made of faience (now brown), and stands on rectangular base. Its features are barely visible and it is flatter on one side. It is pierced lengthways through the base of the headress. Another is wider and of faience (now brown). It is again of fretwork, with holes under the arms and between the legs. It has a small rectangular base and the legs bow outwords at the knees and then in again. It has low relief moulding of facial features, etc on both sides. It is pierced lengthways through the neck. There are 5 smaller ones. The smallest is made of petrol blue matt faience, and its legs are missing. It is pierced widthways through the base of the headress. Another small one is made of faience (now pale brown), and has a wide head, tapering in to a smaller rectangular base. It is pierced through the neck, and has limited raised moulding. Another is made of green faience (now bleached), It has a wide rectangular base, and is missing the plumed headress. It is moulded on one side only, with limited details. The last one is made of green faience (now drab brown), and is more finely moulded than the others. It has an incised, tall, plumed headressm and is seated on a throne, with knees bent, arms resting on his lap, on a rectangular base. It is pierced through the base of the headress.

5 faience amulets moulded in the form of Bes. They are all about the same size. One is made of pale green shiny faience, and has similar moulding on both sides. It stands on a rectangular base, and is crudely moulded with a plumed headress. It is pierced through the base of the headress. Another is a more rounder pale green faience (now drab brown) amulet with an oval base. It is crudely moulded and has a varge hole piercing through the base of the headress. It has similar mouldings on both sides (but one side is damaged) The three others are of a similar jade green faience colour. One is crudely moulded with a huge piercing through the neck at the back. Another is of shiny green faience, with virtually no features of Bes visible, standing on an almost square base. It is pierced through the neck. The other also matt and more rotund in the centre than the other two. Facial features are almost invisible, and it stands on a square bace, pierced through the back of its neck.

He has a mummiformed body, and holds a sceptre in his hands, and has details of a jackal's head carved in low relief. There is a cross incised on the thighs. He wears a necklace. It has finely moulded features of Bes with a plumed headress (divided into four), and two large ears. He has a bird, and the nude anatomy of a male. It is pierced lengthways through the base of its headress. There is a crosshatched design on the back of the head.. He seems to have a sort of tail (?) at the back. Another is made of pale green faience, with a rectangular base. Its moulding is identical on both sides, with crude lined moulding. He has large ears and no arms are visible. It is pierced lengthways through the base of the headress. One is made of turquoise shiny faience, on a square base. It is crudely moulded. It is pierced through the neck. Another is square shaped, with Bes moulded on all fours sides, standing with legs apart and arms down by his side. He has square features, and is pierced through a lined loop at the top of the head. It stands on a square base. An oddly moulded amulet of Bes is made of pale green standing on a square base. It has a bald head with large ears and has a sort of squat position. It is pierced through the neck it is rather angular. A faience (now pale grown) amulet of the upper half of Bes (legs missing), is a rather stout figure with a pot belly, bald head, large round ears and a scowling expression on its face. It is not pierced. A faience (now pale yellow), has a square base.It has roughly moulded features on the front side, and is pierced through the back of the head. The smallest one is made of shiny bright turquoise faience, has limited details, and has a flat back. It is not pierced. Another is made of faience (now dark brown), is very crudely moulded, with a flat back, and holes through the top of the head. One is made of green matt faience, standing on an almost rectangular base, It has an almost flat back, except for some raised incised moulding on the back. Facial features are limited and it is pierced through the base of the headress. The final one is a crudely moulded flat backed amulet of the face of Bes. It has the headress missing. It is made of green matt faience, and is unpierced.

It is a crudely moulded bald angular figure, carved on both sides. One side has more detailed features. He stands on a rectangular base. It is unpierced, with no headress (missing). Another is of green (now white) matt faience, and is the face and neck of Bes. It is crudely moulded with a plumed headress and a decorated round necklace, moulded onto a flat back, and pierced through the neck. A small amulet is made of pale green shiny faience, and has a pilaster at the back, standing on a rectangular base. Ir is pierced through the pilaster at neck level, and has limited moulding, a v-shape is prominent in its groin. Another small amulet is made of petrol blue shiny faience, has detailed moulding, with a long finely plumed headress, standing on an almost square base. It is pierced through its neck, and has fretwork between the body and arms and legs. Another small pale green faience smulet is crudely moulded, standing on a rectangular base, and pierced through the base of the headress. it has an almost flat back, and no face is visible. The final two are more like seals. One is made of pale green matt faience, with a vague moulding of Bes on one side, and a flat back. It is pierced lengthways. The other is almost circular shaped and pierced across the diameter. It is crudely moulded with Bes on both side, with a raised ridge around the outside.
