Transgender pioneer

Michael Dillon is one of the pioneers of trans medicine. While living in Bristol he set out on a path that would lead him to become the first person in the world to undergo full female-to-male gender reassignment. He also wrote a book on gender medicine that is revolutionary even now in its patient-centred approach and respect for trans people.
