Jane Couch, MBE (1968 - ) Boxer and promoter Jane Couch won her battle in the courts to become the first officially licenced British female boxer in 1998. Known as the Fleetwood Assassin, she travelled the world winning 5 world titles along the way. She has fought for gender equality throughout her incredible career, and has helped to establish female boxing in Britain.
