The use of shrouds as an alternative to coffins has a long history, but it is becoming more acceptable today because of the natural burial movement, which campaigns for environmentally friendly burials. This shroud is made from unbleached natural bamboo and can be decorated by mourners or the funeral director. It is approved for cremation as well as for burial.
