'I spoke to six grandchildren ranging from twenty five to six. The first thing all of them said was that their grandpa always had a packet of mint imperials and the smell and taste of them instantly brought him back to life. He bought two ounces of mint imperials and a Daily Mail at eight o'clock every morning, including the day he died. In the time of quiet reflection we passed a bag around the congregation. The remaining mints were placed on the coffin with that day's Daily Mail.'
