Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding took place on Saturday 19 May 2018. Many people were excited to watch it, others had no interest at all.
The biggest screening in Bristol was at Millennium Square. Deck chairs were provided and people brought along camping chairs, blankets and picnics. It was screened in several pubs around the city too, and many people watched it at home.
Ashton Court Mansion was taken over by Artspace Lifespace, who hosted an Alternative Royal Wedding. They screened the ceremony, hosted games, provided live music and displayed art.
That evening, a huge party took place in Stokes Croft. Most people were there for Rave on Avon festival, rather than to celebrate the wedding, but there was an extra celebratory feel due to England doing well in the FA Cup and the hot weather.
