Banksy

Graffiti artist, political activist and film director

Banksy is the internationally known artist whose identity is unknown. His stencilling technique features on walls and bridges throughout the world, including various locations around Bristol. Banksy’s cultural connection to the city is also associated with his biggest exhibition to date, the ‘Banksy vs. Bristol Museum’ show in 2009. This was considered to be a thank you to his home city for supporting his early street art career.
