Description: Woman's lace cap with a heavily embroidered band across the top worked in red, pink, and gold and silver metalic thread, interspersed with spangles and coloured glass beads. The back of the hat is machine made net embroidered with white cotton and a meandering flower motif; woven silk ribbon around the bottom of the cap, of flower design; lace edging; lined with white silk.
