: Silver swimming trophy; Known as "The Taylor Cup", 1920-2000. Cup, lid and plinth. The cup is inscribed; ".THE TAYLOR CUP. PRESENTED TO HENLEAZE SWIMMING CLUB BY W.J. TAYLOR, IN MEMORY OF HERBERT VICTOR TAYLOR, LATE MEMBER "A" POLO TEAM 1920". There is a crest with a dragon and the initials HSC inside. On the mount are silver plaques (2 large rectangular ones , 15 oblong ones & 1 crest) with dates and names inscribed. The final name and date is the crest shaped plaque inscribed "2000 G.BUSH". The cup is removable from the plinth and underneath the cup is a sticker reading "W.J. TAYLOR PLINTH".
