: coat: Parka coat. Red cloth outer layer with coloured applique bands, inner beige wool lining with fur trim and embroidery. T/CANA/168a, Cream woollen three-quarter length jacket with hood. The hood has a narrow red cotton binding. The long set in sleeves are embroidered to match the front. Both the hood and sleeves are trimmed with fur. The front of the jacket has a full length open-ended zip fastener. Above the hemline are hand embroidered birds, seals and kayaks in shades of red, blue and orange. The hemline is also fur trimmed. Inside the jacket is a white manufacturer's label 'HAND MADE BY HOLMAN ESKIMOS N W T CANADA'. All the seams are machined and then stitched down by hand forming a shirt type seam. T/CANA/168b, Red twill overjacket with hood designed to fit over the woollen jacket. The hood has self binding. The long set-in sleeves and the hood have a narrow tape decoration in blue, cream, red and black. The front of the jacket fastens with a central open-ended zip. There are two large patch pockets. The tape decoration is also around the hem.
