Gourd bottle with spatula. Mouth decorated with teeth inset in gum. Bone spatula placed in it as a stopper. The spatula has a few teeth attached to the handle. There is a split on the gourd which has been mended with three small strips of fibre gummed.

The band is made from a piece of bark covered with bark cloth stitched at the back. The front is decorated with zig zag fibre stitches and is painted white outside the stitching, black inside the zig zag and red all down the centre of the band. The bark cloth extends approx. 33cm on either side to act as ties. Fawn and red/brown fibres hang from one side of the bark, plaited and stitched to form a thick frill. This is an armlet or a forehead band.

Adze haft (no head) angled with split end bound with rattan cane to hold stone head. Decorative surface relief carving on hand grip end - frigate bird heads - and along top part on one side - also frigate birds. Piece missing at top, holes along edge about binding for decorative additions.
