This blue-glass dish or decanter stand is gilded with a Greek-key pattern border. It dates from the early 1800s and is inscribed with Isaac Jacobs' signature. It was unusual at this time for glassmakers to sign their pieces and Isaac Jacobs may have been one of the first to do so.
