This glass plate or stand is dark purple in colour with a Greek-key border on the rim. A crest adorns the centre, consisting of an armoured hand clasping a dagger, set within a circle.

It bears Isaac Jacobs' signature on its base and was probably gilded at his Non-Such Flint Glass Manufactory between the years 1805-1820.
