Frederick George Little used these items in his role as a Special Constable in Bristol. These volunteers patrolled the streets to keep the city safe and peaceful. In his notebook, Frederick recorded details of the route he took on his patrol during night duty. He also carried a list of the telephone numbers of local police and fire stations in case of emergency.
