Bristol features in lots of films and TV dramas including BBC's Sherlock, The Young Ones, Teachers, Casualty, Skins, Mistresses, Doctor Who, and Wolf Hall. Game show Deal Or No Deal and natural history programme Secrets of Bones were also filmed in Bristol.

Our social history collection includes costumes and props from the medical drama Casualty.

The city is home to animation and natural history film companies with a worldwide reputation. We have a small collection relating to Aardman Animations. Some of it's on display in the People Gallery at M Shed Museum.
