Whilst confined to our houses, many people embraced cooking, gardening, drawing, reading, or crafts. Some people took the opportunity to learn new skills online, with a huge range of courses and talks readily available. It gave us an opportunity to really think about what was important and what we enjoy.

Many gardens benefitted from makeovers, and people were keen to show off their gardening efforts online.

Connections changed for many people in 2020. Most of us had never heard of Zoom, suddenly we were using it for leisure activities we had never dreamed of doing online- live yoga classes, video calls to friends and family, regular quizzes, life drawing, book groups, lectures... the list was endless.
