Penny had been to a few discoaerobics classes at Hamilton House but when classes went online, she was able to attend much more often.

'Lockdown has been tough on us all and I find it hard to get motivated to exercise at the best of times, but discoaerobics has been a saviour of sparkles in these miserable times. I look forward to seeing what garb Carly is wearing and which ridiculous new dance move name she'll coin (current fave is the seagull grapevine). An amazing array of costumes cannot fail to raise a smile even on the darkest most COVID encompassing day. As well as singing along to the uplifting tunes and enjoying the subsequent endorphin hit.

There have been days where I haven't felt like logging on to class but without fail, it always makes me feel even just a little bit better to see everyone in their little squares, all different but all loving having a good old wiggle and a giggle. Guaranteed!

Carly feels like a friend rather than a judgey unattainable creature who you can't relate to. I can't imagine any other person could get me so readily running backwards in slow motion or flapping my arms like a seagull, with a smile on my face!

I hated PE at school and have never excelled at exercise but finally I've found something I enjoy doing, where you can have a laugh and truly feel like you are part of a community.

Carly makes classes fun and there is no pressure to perform, you take it all at your own pace, with the focus on what feels good for you. Her whole approach is body positive and encouraging. Such a positive role model for women and for humans in general.'
