Stoneware pot. The pot is hand built and is has an oatmeal coloured glaze. The pot tappers in at the base and opening, with the majority of the pot being a round bulbous shape. It is embossed with an abstract linear decoration on all sides.

The base tapers out. The rim of the flagon and lid has an embossed design of intricate ovals and flowers. The lid is dome shaped with a flamboyant finial. It is attached with a hinge to the handle. This hinge is decorated with a two side face with wings. Possibly a putto/angel.

The rolling pin is almost cylindrical and is nipped in at the ends with cushion knobs at each end. It has a scratched design lengthwise depicting a paddle steamer under the Sunderland bridge as well as a house, birds and plants.
