In all, 46 (+ 1 loose piece) papercuts ranging from a single leaf to complex compositions; a portrait of 'Dr Sackla ' is signed 'HL'. Several of the poems are annotated 'addressed to EHS'. Front cover bears bookplate of the Fry family 'ESTO FIDELIS'; a later, typed label reads: 'Poems and paper cut-outs, // which came from Tower House, // Cotham, Bristol, and belonged // to Francis Fry, the cut-outs // were made by earlier members // of the Fry family. // E.A.Lee.'
