Shrine to Thomas Maggs, with Death plaque, War Medal, Victory |Medal, condolence scroll and photograph of Thomas Maggs in a wooden frame. Death plaque at centre top, nailed top and bottom into backboard: medals stapled and nailed either side opf plaque, at an angle (medals have the wrong ribbons). Beneath, the condolence scroll from The territorioal Force Association for the County of Worcester, with small photograph of Tomas Mags in uniform attached. Condolence sent to Mr T Maggs. 37 Penfield Street, Mina Road, Bristol. Thomas Maggs died 14th October 1918, aged 26

Medal commemorating the International Exhibition, Milan, 1906. One side depicts A woman kissing the forehead of a man, with inscription LABOR SCIENTIAE AUXILIO GLORIAM CONSEQUITUR. The reverse side depicts the exhibition building, with tree in foreground with inscription ESPOSIZIONE INTERNAZIONALE MILANO 1906.

They are resting on the motto "Virtute et Industria" The following is written on the note: No C[1031] Bristol BULLION Bank No C[1031] 37 Corn Street. I Promise to pay the Bearer on Demand the Sum of ONE POUND Value Rec.d Bristol the [18] day of [Apl 182[1] For C[1031] One Browne, Cavenagh, Browne, Bayly. Ent.d [A.M.Newell] [Henry Browne] The paper is very dirty with age and has turned a green colour inplaces, it is creased and the edges are torn.
