German 'Glocke und Hammer' dice and card game. Wooden box with slide lid and yellow inside. Five large cards with blue backs. One small black backed card with 'N' on. Wooden hammer. Wooden bell with no inside hammer. Bone/ivory spinning top/teetotum numbered 1-12. Eight slate/marble dice. Symbols on dice written in pencil and a mixture of numbers, blanks and mystery symbols that probably refer to the pieces (i.e. one is a hammer shape, one is a 'N').

Seventy-two small cards listing items that relate to one of the trades in the picture cards. Instruction sheet and duplicate instructions sheet.

Plays two tunes whose names are very faintly written on the base; 'Lily of Laguna' and possibly 'Our slaves'. On the base is also the printed words 'Musique A 2 Airs' and the written number 1324.

Originally the pictures would have formed six larger pictures, possibly from a book, but all bar one have now been ripped in half.
