Double barrelled pinfire shotgun by George Gibbs, Bristol. Side by side round Damacus twist barrels with upper and lower ribs, the upper rib signed 'George Gibbs, 29 Corn Street, Bristol'. Iron action with engraved standing breech. The upper part of the action is also formed with a long tang engraved with foliate designs. Barrel release lever can be rotated anti-clockwise to open breech. Walnut stock with chequered wrist, and walnut detachable and chequered forestock. Engraved iron furniture comprising; butt plate, trigger guard. White metal escutcheon and sling swivel support. Right and left engraved side-locks signed 'George Gibbs'. Secured to the stock by 2 sidenails.

Mauser Model 1898 bolt-action magazine rifle. Stamped with serial number A2725. Steel butt plate and loop form trigger guard. Steel receiver with bolt action, the left side stamped with MOD. Mauser Model 1896 Bolt-action magazine rifle by Ludwig Lowe & Co, Berlin. Round steel barrel, rifled, with a raised blade foresight and calibrated and adjustable rear sight graduated to 2000 metres Retained to the stock by 2 steel barrel bands, the rear band with a side-mounted integral sling swivel, the forward band also forming the nose-cap and also with integral bayonet lug. Cleaning rod missing. Wooden three-quarter stock with separate hand-guard covering the top forward section of the barrel. The underside of the butt with a sling swivel loop. The left side of the stock crudely carved wit the initials AJW. Steel butt plate and loop form trigger guard. Steel receiver with bolt action (bolt removed), the left side stamped Mod Mauser 1896 Ludwig Lowe & Co, Berlin, together with the serial number A3725 'A.J.W.' carved into stock in large flowing letters.

Scarlet coatee with dark blue facings. The design (3d grenadier emblems at the tails) is affiliated with an officer of the grenadier company of the Royal Bristol Volunteers. Wax stains are present. Lining has been repaired, but is largely intact. 'W. Hassell''s name is written inside. There is deterioration of the fabric and of leather patches inside the armpit. All of the buttons and the epaulettes are missing. Waist seam. No pockets.

English crossbow with broad steel bow held to the stock by iron brackets and secured with iron staples. Wooden stock or tiller of rectangular form with bone and mother of pearl inlays (some missing). The top with a bone bolt channel and bone nut. Gaffle pegs missing. Iron stirrup (damaged) at the fore-end. Iron trigger sear lever with folding safety lever.

Plastic figure (Action Man type) wrapped in cream cotton shroud. One of thousands made to commemorate the Battle of the Somme 1916, when 19,240 British soldiers died in fighting. Part of an artwork, Shrouds of the Somme, of figures laid out across grass. Shown in Exeter and on College Green, Bristol in 2016. Non-display figures made to sell, in frame with notes.
