No [A627] I Promise to pay the Bearer on Demand the Sum of One Pound, Value received the [1] day of [January] 18[18] For Samuel Worrall & Andrew Pope. ONE POUND [And.w Pope] Ent.d [J.Watson] There is a first dividend paid bankruptcy stamp across the words "the Sum of". The previous registration number is written in the right-hand corner. The paper is discoloured through ageing, with darker patches appearing where there is creasing. The note is torn around the edges and has been mounted onto another piece of paper.

On the reverse is a large cartouche in red and black ink. In the centre is a lion and a unicorn either side of a Coat of Arms with a crown on top. The motto underneath says "Dieu et Mon Droit". The word "one" appears along the bottom. The note is dirty with age and is covered in tiny creases.

On the reverse is some handwriting which reads as follows: "1818 Payment to Bristol Union ? Office by W.Tozey? £100

The paper is covered in tiny creases and is very dirty due to ageing. In the corners there are some orange/brown colour patches. On the reverse is a large ornate cartouche in red and black ink with a crown stamped in the centre and the word "one" at the bottom.

One Ent.d (illegible signature) [Henry Browne] The note has been stamped in three places with bankruptcy stamps. One is a large rectangle shape running horizontally with the action being served against Cavenagh, Browne and Browne, at Bush Tavern, Bristol. The others are first and second dividend stamps on the left and right-hand sides. On the reverse is a large ornate cartouche in red and black ink. There is a crown in the middle and a motto "Dieu et Mon Droit?" The word "ONE" is stamped underneath. The note is very dirty through ageing.
